Who we are

Help Me Travel (helpmetravel.in) helps people plan trips within India. For anything about your data, write to info@helpmetravel.in. That address is also our grievance contact.

What we collect, and why

• Site analytics, only if you allow it: the pages you view, how you reached the site, and your device and browser, plus your rough location, which Google works out from your IP address without storing the address. We use it to see which pages help people and what to improve.

We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. Google Analytics' advertising features are off.

Who processes it

• Google Firebase hosts the site.
• Google Analytics measures visits, if you allow it. Google may process this data outside India.
• Amplitude measures visits, if you allow it, and stores the data in the United States. We've turned off its recording of IP addresses.

How long we keep it

• Google Analytics: Google deletes visit-level data after 14 months. Totals, such as visits per page, stay.
• Amplitude: kept until we delete it. Amplitude's free plan doesn't delete data automatically.

Your choices and rights

• Analytics: use "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page to allow or stop it. Stopping it deletes the analytics cookies from your browser.
• Access or correct your data, withdraw consent, or raise a grievance: email info@helpmetravel.in.
• If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Storage in your browser

Your browser remembers your analytics choice. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics and Amplitude set cookies (_ga and _ga_ followed by an ID; AMP_ followed by an ID) that tell one visit from the next. We don't use advertising cookies.

If this notice changes, the version date at the top changes.
